I agree...I am on quite often and don't see many people on or changes to the forums. Maybe the "Goals" thread will spark some interest.
There is also not a lot of advertising around the dojo about the website...maybe the some cool signs are in order.

Very interesting web site...Thanks!! The section on the five animals is very interesting especially the parallels of the different traits between fighting styles and life. I think I am going to research further.
I also really like the quote "Dragons understand most everyone but only Dragons understand Dragons." I may have to change my tag line. I feel like that most of the time (not claiming to be a dragon mind you)

Some things to consider, if you're trying to pull in more activity via the internet.
* Generate an active RSS feed. Could be forum posts, could be a blog, could be regular updates with general overviews of what we cover in class and news announcements - anything, as long as you're getting a couple of updates a week (and probably not more than 3-4 a day). Publish the RSS feed so people with newsreaders can subscribe to it. Also consider hosting the photos on flickr or photobucket or some other service that will provide an RSS feed with photos.
* Syndicate the RSS feed on several of the more popular social networking sites. Livejournal, facebook, myspace, etc. Make sure to post a link back to either the forums or SMS's homepage.
Livejournal allows "paid account" users to create a "syndicated account" which will publish an RSS feed. There is a community for requesting a paid user to do this for you. See http://www.theadminzone.com/forums/artic...&aid=9748. You could also create a SMS community for livejournal users to join.
Facebook allows users to publish a "journal" and import an RSS feed. Again, you can also create a facebook group for facebook users to join.
Myspace likely allows something similar. I'm not very familiar with myspace.
